You gain the confidence that you are prepared to help in an emergency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What you\u2019ll learn during the EFR Primary and Secondary Care course:   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; BLS (Basic Life Support) and rescue breathing <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Preventing and caring for shock <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Spinal injury management <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Serious bleeding treatment <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Basic first aid considerations <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Injury and illness assessment <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Bandaging and splinting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program includes an academic part including the self-study of the EFR participant manual and a practical part where you will get a hand-on experience in BLS and First Aid. Want to be ready in an emergency? Then this program is for you! The Emergency First Response (EFR) program covers basic training for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care. In addition, it\u2019s a medically based program covering primary care, secondary care and treatments following national consensus guidelines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is designed for divers and non-divers, and also meets the CPR and first aid prerequisite for earning your PADI Rescue Diver rating. So if you\u2019re seeking CPR\/first aid training to meet a diving program requirement or for personal enhancement, this program is for you. Primary Care (CPR) Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches you how to deal with emergencies that are immediately life threatening..
